A vibrant blue flower traditionally used in Malaysia to make blue rice and blue desserts. Butterfly pea flower is an antioxidant-rich herb with high content of anthocyanin and quercetin. It can help boosting vitality and circulation while promoting collagen production and healthy hair.

These flowers are used as a botanical in colour-changing gin, which change from blue to pink when mixed with tonic water.

Taste Note:

Slight herbal note, clean, no strong flavours, good for cooking or blending with other tea.

 

Brewing Recommendations:

1. Include 2 to 3 flowers per 300ml of water for optimal colour

2. Add a wedge of lemon to change tea to purple
