Unlike other Japanese green tea that are steamed, houjicha is roasted in a porcelain pot over charcoal at a high temperature. This unique tea making process gives out a caramelised nutty aroma.
Please noted that our houjicha is grown in Australia by the the renown Japanese company Ito En. This is a radiation free houjicha.
